Glasses are being replaced with Lasik eye surgery

There are so many individuals who suffer from eyesight related problems with most of them telling you how they wish they could see without the use of their glasses. Glasses can be a burden on an individuals life but unfortunately they cannot live without them.

Many of you may have tried contact lenses but they were not as comfortable as wearing glasses or your eyes just could not get adjusted to them. Often children who wear glasses are bullied at school with other children being particularly cruel and may tease and taunt them. A lot of these children develop an inferior complex as a result of this and as they grow into teen hood they tend to get conscious about their looks.

However, due to new laser eye surgeries and treatments such as Lasik eye surgery young adults no longer need to wear glasses and this can transform their lives. People have said that this eye surgery has made them feel free. Lasik surgery is very safe when compared to vision correction surgeries. Previously vision correction surgeries used blades to operate on the eye which can be dangerous and could cause permanent damage to a persons eyesight.
