Lasik surgery is the latest and best eye treatment

Laser Assisted In situ Keratomileusis or commonly known as Lasik, is an eye surgery quite popular among people to correct their vision. It is the most popular treatment to correct vision difficulties caused by a refractive error in the eye. Because of this refractive error, the eye cannot focus on light correctly and the vision may seem unclear, hazy or blurred.
Lasik surgery treats farsightedness, nearsightedness, and astigmatism. It greatly decreases the use of any eye corrective products, such as glasses or contact lenses and offers you a different clear vision solution.
In Lasik eye surgery, the eye is first anaesthetised with the help of a few anaesthetic drops. Once the eye is not sensitive, a small flap is formed on the corneas surface using a microkeratome that allows the eye surgeon access to the corneal bed. After carefully placing the corneal flap, a laser is used to restructure the affected cornea and move the focal point of the eye to improve the vision. After correcting the cornea, the corneal flap is relocated carefully and begins to heal immediately.
Although Lasik eye surgery is a relatively safe and simple process, it is best not to stress your eyes after the surgery. You should follow the recovery guidance and timeline prescribed by the eye doctor before commencing your normal activities.
