During LASIK eye surgery, the doctor uses a laser to create a corneal flap. Once it is created, the cornea is reshaped. Lastly, the corneal flap is repositioned and left to heal.
What your eyes will feel like after the surgery?
After your LASIK eye surgery is complete, your eyes may feel a little irritated. There are also cases where vision is blurred for a few hours.
It is recommended that you relax and let your eyes rest for few days afterwards, so make sure that you take a little time off work. Resting for a few days is very important in order to achieve quick and positive results. To protect your sensitive eyes, you will also have to wear a protective shield for a short while. Eye drops also need to be applied regularly.
