UltraReNew treatment launched in the UK
Posted in Laser Eye Surgery on November 16, 2009
Ultralase, specialists in laser eye surgery, have launched a brand new procedure that has been developed specifically to treat people suffering from presbyopia. The treatment- which is called UltraReNew- was launched on the 22nd of October at the Groups Hammersmith clinic. Consultations for the new presbyopia treatment have been made available in all of the 31 Ultralase clinics across the UK and Ireland.
However, the UltraReNew procedure is currently only being performed in the Hammersmith branch, although by 2010, the treatment will be made available nationally.
A statement from Ultralase claims that compared to the treatments that were previously available, this treatment is far superior and can solve presbyopia problems without impacting vision.
Mark Korolkiewicz, clinical services director of the company, said that this treatment is a revolutionary one that will make a big difference to many peoples lives, and that it is wonderful to be the first company to be able to offer this kind of laser treatment.
The UltraReNew laser eye surgery is available to women and men over the age of 45.
