Choosing a procedure

When you attend your free consultation, your specialist ophthalmologist will recommend which of our vision correction treatments is right for you and should provide you with the best results. This will be based upon a detailed examination of your eyes as well as the information you provide at consultation.

It may be that we recommend one treatment as there is only one treatment for which you are clinically suitable.

Where there is a choice, we will provide you with our recommendation as well as the alternate options with all the information you need to allow you to make an informed decision about which treatment you would like to go ahead with.

For example, Claire was advised that she should have a LASEK based laser eye treatment due to clinical suitability, but was suitable for Ultra, Ultra Plus or Ultra Elite laser treatment. We provided her with information on the results she could expect to achieve with each option, the benefits and risks as well as look at payment plans to make each affordable for her. Claire was then able to make an informed decision about her treatment with the help of her Ophthalmologist and Personal Advisor.
