Your eye surgeon

Ultralase strive to be the clinical leaders for vision correction surgery. Many of the leading eye surgeons in the vision correction community work with Ultralase. Every member of our team is a fully-qualified eye surgeon who has progressed to specialise in ophthalmology and refractive eye surgery.

All our surgeons are either Fellows of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, Fellows of the Royal College of Surgeons (UK) or are recognised as eye specialists by the UK's General Medical Council.

 

Dr Sanjay Mantry

Dr Sanjay Mantry

Mr Mantry undertook his Higher Specialist Training (HST) in the West Midlands from 2000 to 2004. He then completed two fellowships in his subspecialty interest (anterior segment) in Birmingham and Nottingham.

Mr Christopher Stephenson

Mr Christopher Stephenson is an NHS Consultant and specialist eye surgeon having qualified as a doctor over 25 years ago. After initial work in general practice he went onto specialise in ophthalmology and was awarded a Fellowship by the College of Ophthalmologists in 1995 as well as the Fellowship by the Royal College of Surgeons in the same year.

Mr Balasubramaniam Ilango

Mr Balasubramaniam Ilango

Mr Ilango is an NHS Consultant and specialist eye surgeon who has now been a qualified doctor for more than 15 years. He was awarded Membership of the prestigious Royal College of Ophthalmologists in 1994 and awarded a Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in the same year.
