Sajjad Haider

Mr Haider qualified from the University of Punjab in 1981. He has obtained Fellowship of The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 1988 and the Fellowship of the Royal College of Ophthalmologist London in 1989. After training in various hospitals in England he was appointed as Assistant Professor in Ophthalmology in Shifa Medical School in Islamabad Pakistan, where he also held a high volume practice in corneal and cataract surgery. He also obtained an MSc HTA (Evidence Based Health Care) from University of Birmingham and is on the Specialist Register of the General Medical Council.

He returned from Pakistan in 2002 and served as Consultant Ophthalmologist in Wales and the Midlands. Mr Haider underwent training in refractive surgery in LASIK, Intralase and LASEK. He is an active member of American Academy of Ophthalmology and International Society of Refractive surgeons. He is active in ophthalmic research and regularly presents at international ophthalmic surgery congresses.
