Mr Faisal Iqbal DO, FRCS, EBOD, MBBS
Mr Iqbal completed his Medical Degree at The University of Punjab in June 1986. Since 1990, he has worked in the UK and Republic of Ireland, undertaking ophthalmology specialism at Registrar level at the prestigious University College Hospital, Galway, Ireland. He completed his Fellowship in Ophthalmology at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 1993 and holds a respected place as a Fellow of the European Board of Ophthalmologists. Mr Iqbal completed a 12-month Fellowship in Refractive Surgery from the renowned Mater Private Hospital in Dublin and has specialised in refractive surgery since 2004. With 13 publications and papers presented at different national and international conferences, Mr Iqbal is also a member of British and European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. Mr Iqbal joined Ultralase in 2004, and has performed over 9,300 laser eye surgery procedures.
