Srinivasan Subramaniam
Mr Subramaniam attained his masters degree in Ophthalmology at Mangalore University in 1986. He then gained extensive clinical ophthalmic experience working at various UK hospitals, before being appointed as a Senior Registrar in Ophthalmology between Charing Cross Hospital and Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Trust, London, in 1995.
Mr Subramaniam currently works as a Consultant Ophthalmologist at Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Trust where he runs specialist glaucoma and retinal clinics, as well as carrying out general ophthalmic work. He also sits on the panel of examiners for The Royal College of Ophthalmologists and The Royal College of Surgeons of Glasgow, introducing regular assessments and appraisals for all junior doctors in training. Mr Subramaniam joined Ultralase in 2006 and has carried out over 5000 intra-ocular lens procedures and more than 1,100 laser eye surgery procedures.
