Your eye is unique, just like your fingerprint, and with Ultra Plus laser eye surgery every treatment is unique. Our Wavefront eye laser technology allows us to create a tailor-made treatment plan that's as individual as you are, and apply the laser eye treatment precisely where it is needed.
Wavefront is a sophisticated computerised diagnostic aid which 'reads' your eye to identify areas with microscopic flaws. Iris recognition technology allows us to map your iris in the same way fingerprints are taken. All this information is plotted on a chart and transferred to the laser, building a uniquely personalised treatment and ensuring accuracy and safety during vision correction.
Our Wavefront technology has also been upgraded to include both APT (Advanced Personalised Treatment) and ACE (Advanced Control Eye-tracking) enhancements, allowing us to give you faster and more accurate results, and we are the only national eye surgery clinic network to do so!
ULtra Plus is available as either a LASEK or LASIK laser eye surgery.
At Ultralase we use IntraLase® as standard on all our LASIK laser eye treatments, a very, very fine laser that is used to lift the protective outer layer of the eye. This makes Ultralase the ONLY national vision correction clinic network in the UK to move completely away from the use of blades in laser eye surgery.
