Laser Eye Surgery Cardiff
Based just a stone throw away from the National Museum, our Cardiff clinic is one of our main Ultralase bases for laser eye surgery. Offering both LASIK and LASEK laser eye procedures here as well as lens surgery treatments, with our RCO appointed surgeons on hand to perform the treatment for you.
A quick guide to our laser treatments:
Our LASIK procedure is where our surgeon will use the laser to reach just beneath the surface of the eye to create a small layer, which is then lifted, your eye is lasered and the layer is re-positioned, with minimal recovery time.
Our LASEK treatment will involve the administration of anesthetic drops to soften the cornea cells, after which the cool beam laser is applied. Your cells are then re-positioned and the surgeon places a protective contact lens on your eye; recovery time is around 3-5 days.
