Laser Eye Surgery Newton Abbot
Are you from Newton Abbot or the surrounding area? Our clinic down south may be your nearest! Take a look below for more information.
Our Newton Abbot clinic is based on Queen’s Road, in the centre of the town. Here, our optometrists will be able to advise you on the best course of action during your free consultation.
LASIK Treatment... A small flap is created on the eye using a laser. Once the flap is lifted, a second laser is used to correct the prescription. The flap is then replaced; recovery is minimal.
LASEK Treatment... Drops are administered to soften the cells on your eye, which are moved to one side to make way for the laser to correct your prescription. Afterwards, the surgeon moves the cells back and applies a contact lens to protect the eye whilst it heals. Recovery for LASEK is around 3-5 days.
